Staples-Motley Community Eduation is committed to lifelong learning by giving access to and encouraging people of all ages to be involved in the comprehensive learning system offered. With enrichment opportunities for youth through adults, childcare for early learners and school-age children, and driver’s education for our high school students, Community Ed provides ample opportunities for community members to learn and grow.

Driver's Education

Students aged 15 and older can prepare for their license through our comprehensive Driver’s Ed program, which includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and personalized Behind the Wheel training sessions.

Our Adult Community Education program offers a wide range of seasonal classes, from creative arts like Photography and pottery to practical skills such as wild plant foraging and Adult Basic Education.

School Readiness: Our School Readiness programming focuses on providing children ages 3 & 4 with the essential skills and social foundations needed to excel as they transition into kindergarten.  


Adult Basic Education

Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs empower you to strengthen foundational skills, achieve your GED, or master the English language. With flexible scheduling and self-paced learning, these programs are designed to fit your busy life. Best of all, tuition is free, though nominal fees for materials or testing may apply.

The centralized digital hub for the community, offering easy access to enrollment information, academic calendars, school events, and essential resources for families, staff, and students.

Facility Use 

 Our community spaces, schools, grounds, and district gyms are available to public organizations for youth sports, local activities, and events, subject to the guidelines outlined in the Facility Use Policy.
