Youth Wrestling Gr 3-6

The goal of the SM youth wrestling program is to provide an atmosphere where wrestlers can develop life-long skills such as discipline, determination, respect and a good work ethic.  During practice, wrestlers will build self-confidence as they learn and drill the fundamental techniques necessary to excel in the sport. Practices will also include some live wrestling as well as team building activities.  Wrestlers will develop an understanding that commitment, hard work, and practice are the keys to success, not only in the sport of wrestling, but in life.  Wrestling practices and competitions provide wrestlers the opportunity to form strong bonds and friendships, not only with their teammates but with wrestlers throughout the state.

Tuesday Camp is in the upstairs wrestling room.  Enter door #18 on the West side of the building and go upstairs.

Wrestlers should attend practice in a t-shirt, shorts or sweatpants, and wrestling shoes.  Wrestlers are expected to be on their best behavior, pay attention, work hard, and be respectful
